22 Apr Say YES to STYLE. Show us who you truly are.
I need to be honest. I had no idea how to start my first post… I was trying to be original, funny, and bright, but didn’t go very well. Finally, I figured out that I have to be honest. How simple is that?! The truth is, I am a big fan of women and I feel honored to work with women. Seriously! The more I work, the greater my admiration and respect. Our business, strategic, and emotional skills are very impressive! I mean, look at the challenges and stereotypes that we have to face every day or – a guy can do it better situations. All of this should be reflected in the way we look. Women should have killer styles. I really wish that was true. However, it’s not always like that…
I feel that it’s time to break down some stereotypes about style!
Style is a visualization of your character.
Style is a systematic work on yourself.
Style is the way you spend your free time.
Style is the way you communicate with the world.
Style means individuality.

We often confuse style with trends. You see, even if you buy all the clothes from the new Prada collection, you won’t have your style. Your wardrobe will match all the latest trends, but it won’t say anything about your personality.
Your style doesn’t change according to seasons, but according to your rhythm of life. It’s you who decide what you wear, not clothing brands. It’s ok to wear a dress that you bought ages ago if the dress still fits your personality and lifestyle.
Your style has nothing to do with the number of clothes that you own or their price. Style doesn’t care about numbers.
Copying has nothing to do with style.
When I look at your outfit and I know who you truly are it means that you have your authentic style.
And now a short test:
It’s important that no one notices me, rather than to look phenomenal.
It’s important to pass without being seen, rather than hear the compliment I deserve.
One imperfection of the body makes me hate everything.
Sounds familiar?! I know that people always said that it’s rude to talk about your accomplishments, you should stick to the line, and you should fit in rather than create. Nothing could be further from the truth!
Here and now I want to tell you that it’s not true! You don’t serve yourself and the world by hiding your talents and passions. I became a personal stylist because I want to change the way you look at yourself and your body. I became a personal stylist to give you confidence and change the way you dress. I mean, look at you. You are beautiful and unique! You deserve your acceptance. You should freely communicate with the world. Not because you have a “perfect body”, but because there is no other woman like you! And we need you real, confident and aware of your strengths and weaknesses. You probably don’t understand how much you can affect your life and your loved ones. All you have to do is reward yourself for being you. How?
You don’t have to please everyone. Just be yourself. There is no place for stereotypes. What will the others say? Forget it. Such restrictions have never served you. Yes, there are certain situations in which you should follow the dress code, but even then you can engage your personality by adding some small detail to your outfit.
Are you frustrated because there are too many clothes and brands available in stores? Think about it this way. It is your chance to find unique pieces that will flatter your body! I guess you are not angry at the number of machines in the gym. You know that each machine works on different parts of your body. You learn how to use them, so you don’t hurt yourself and you can enjoy the gym. It’s the same with clothes. The more you know about yourself, the easier you eliminate shapes and fabrics that are not serving your figure.
I wrote this post because I want you to understand how important it is to have your own style. You playing small was never serving you. Enough hiding behind clothes. Otherwise, you won’t move on. I want you to make this decision right now – it’s time for a change!
How to start? Well, let me tell you one thing. The real magic happens when you accept yourself. Trust me, I know what I’m saying. All I really want is to help you, so my next post will be about self-acceptance. We start from scratch. Otherwise, you won’t be able to change. Buying new clothes is one of the last steps.
Thank you for sharing your precious time with me. You are seriously amazing! I am here for you and I would love to hear your story. What is your experience with style? You’ll find space for your comment below. Remember, there is no place for judgment here. There is a place for conversation, understanding, and support.
Let’s stay together and keep on being stylish! I believe that one day we’ll all have killer styles!
